I'm trying to add an RSS feed to Daily Kos to my blog module.
www.dailykos.com does not work.
feeds.dailykos.com/dailykos/index.xml does not work.
Editing the module to "jump start" it does not work.
In every case I get blog headlines from a couple weeks ago, and it won't update.
Going to both of those links directly DOES work.
I've read the other thread on linked blogs not updating, and tried the suggestions there - it doesn't help.
Lots of people use the Daily Kos RSS feed, so I doubt the problem is there, but maybe all the traffic lately (due to Lamont kicking Lieberman's ass in CT) is the issue.

Thu, August 10, 2006 - 3:07 AMOr rather, jump starting appears to work at first, but it then reverts back to the out-of-date feed. So it's getting the new info somehow, and then forgetting it. -

Tue, August 15, 2006 - 1:30 PMSorry that it's been so long since I follwed up. Another engineer was able to track down the fact that the RSS feed url had changed over time, and that our system hadn't done a good job of finding the right URL. So, this should have been fixed has of last Friday.
