I have my off site blog linked in my profile in the proper module, but it's never updated. It's always been stuck at the same spot.
I read a thread in here about going in to edit and saving to "kick start" it. Tried that but no go. Any other suggestions?

Tue, February 21, 2006 - 1:13 PMwhen I follow the links back to sfolivia.blogspot.com I see the same posting (dated back in november 6th) that i see on your profile. perhaps you haven't published any of your writings since then. Or perhaps you have some privacy settings that prevent me (and by extension tribe) from reading any newer articles. -

Wed, February 22, 2006 - 10:06 AMI have written in the blog since then and I checked all of my privacy and user settings with blogspot, too. I am hosting the blog on my own site, not blogspot so I wonder if there's a problem with Tribe not updating because of that. -

Perhaps blogspot isn't getting updates from your hosting site. As I said when I surf to sfolivia.blogspot.com the most recent post I see is the same 11/6/05 post we show on your profile. Sorry I can't be of more help but everything seems fine from our end to blogspot.

But if I go through your Blogger profile, I see that your updated blog is at: www.sfolivia.com/blog/
Please check both URLs, and if it's the 2nd one you want, put that URL into your RSS module.

Thu, March 23, 2006 - 6:49 PMI put in the second URL from my site, and it still showed the post from Blogspot in November. I saw Kim's post in this tribe, so it's seems like a Tribe bug. I killed off the module rather than messing with it anymore. -

Fri, March 24, 2006 - 11:19 AMOk, I just had to try this myself, and I think I found the problem; unfortuntely, it's on your blog provider's end.
When I go to your blog, www.sfolivia.com/blog/ I see your current blog, with recent posts. Now, what Tribe does to get your feed is that goes to the URL you provide, and looks on that page for the alternate link, something like:
<link rel="alternate" type="application/atom+xml" title="foo" href="bar.com/atom.xml" />
however, when I look at your blog's page page source (select "Page Source" from the View menu on Firefox), I see this alternate line:
<link rel="alternate" type="application/atom+xml" title="Thank Fuck It's Friday" href="sfolivia.blogspot.com/atom.xml" />
Unforunately, it links back to your OLD blog! Until your current blog shows the right URL, we're not going to go to the right place, maybe there's some setting on your end where you can specify the URL for your blog, and that will work? -

Sat, March 25, 2006 - 11:28 AMthis has happened to me and i simply go back into the module, delete the blog url and re enter it(this can be done with copy and paste too) and after doing so everything is updated. sounds silly and simple but thats what has worked for me. -

Sat, March 25, 2006 - 11:32 AMi tried clicking your second url and it goes to the updated page. maybe try making the module one more time starting from scratch and enter the second url again and see what happens? -

It's alternate tag sends a user to pull the feed from the *outdated* blog, which is something that needs to be fixed on the blog provider's side. Until then, any RSS reader will pull the outdated version of her blog... -

For example adding the delicious module with my RSS location doesn't work at all, if I add it as a feed it gets an outdated page except at the moment I >save< the setting in >update profile< mode. It gives the current newest topic, but when I refresh it returns to the outdated page.
This same problem happens with Wired's RSS, and also delicious' Popular RSS feed. They all update on the >save< then revert to old material the next reload.
These feeds were all working for a week or two when I first made them. -

Thu, October 19, 2006 - 10:06 PMMy blogspot blog worked well for a pretty long time (linking to here I mean) and then one day it just stopped. Nothing I have done has gotten the feed to work again- when trying it says my blogspot account doesn't exist/or can't be reached. I decided just to hook up a link to my live journal instead. I really liked my blogspot blog, though.
